About

Built for the careful traveler.

AeyoScout is a small product with one job. It hands families, parents, and careful travelers a structured, honest travel risk and area briefing on a stay or a destination before you book, the kind a careful friend who happens to read fast would put together for you.

Why this exists

Vetting a listing takes time. There are policies to check, neighborhood and location details to understand, weather to look up, hospitals or pharmacies to locate, and practical trip questions to think through. Most travelers do it in a five-minute scroll between other tabs, and the details that get missed are often the ones that make a trip harder, such as unclear fees, weekend noise, a flood zone you didn't know about, poor walkability, or the nearest urgent care being farther away than expected.

AeyoScout does the careful reading on your behalf and gives you back a briefing that's short enough to read, structured enough to act on, and conservative by design.

What we believe

  • We work for you, not the platforms. Our goal is to help you ask better questions before you book.
  • Concerns over verdicts. "Worth checking" beats "100 percent safe" every time.
  • Evidence where available. When we flag something important, we aim to show the source, signal, or reasoning behind it.
  • Gaps are gaps. Missing data is not "no risk." It is missing data.
  • No demographic shortcuts. Some signals don't belong in a travel tool.

Where the data comes from

We lean on public infrastructure, open data, and practical location signals. Depending on the location and data availability, a briefing may draw on sources such as:

For listing briefings, we may also analyze the listing's own details, such as policies, amenities, fees, location notes, and patterns worth reviewing before you book.

AeyoScout is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Booking.com, Expedia, Vrbo, Google, or any other booking platform or data provider. Platform and provider names are used only to describe compatible sources or data references.
